1. Incursions - Interactive Cultural Learning Programs

Tailored for young Koolangka (babies and children) with familiar tunes and nursery rhymes, plus new songs in Noongar language.

Happy Little Kangaroos

Age-appropriate storytelling, with ochre face painting, song and dance, plus learning animal names and numbers in Noongar language.

Water Creatures

Sensory play, Aboriginal-inspired art, storytelling, song and dance, plus Noongar language learning—counting, colours, and aquatic animal names.
Ninni Ngingyaans -
Little Echidnas
3 – 7 years | 1.5 hours
Enjoy traditional storytelling, draw animal tracks in sand, learn animal names in Noongar language, fun face painting with ochre, plus an Aboriginal inspired art workshop.

Interactive learning for the festive season, perfect for kids 3-7 years. Learn the story of the Noongar Christmas Tree and create Culturally inspired decorations.

2. NAIDOC Incursions - Whole of School
A powerful way to connect with culture, history, and community in NAIDOC Week. Students will experience an authentic Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, followed by interactive activities—bush tucker and medicine, sensory learning, tool making, storytelling, and Aboriginal-inspired art—including a take-home piece. For Primary or Secondary Schools.
3. Community Events and Activations
Celebrating Culture, story and connection, we partner with councils, event planners, and community groups to create hands-on Aboriginal cultural experiences. From storytelling and art workshops to sensory activities and sand-play, our activations are fully customisable. Each activation is designed to be engaging, inclusive, and respectful, offering a meaningful way for people of all ages to connect with Aboriginal culture and knowledge.
4. Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremonies
Milliyaan Aboriginal Services offers authentic Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremonies that honour the traditional custodians of the land. Our culturally-safe services are primarily delivered in educational settings but can be tailored for any group seeking a meaningful gathering on Noongar boodja.
5. Professional Development for Educators
Our Professional Development sessions are designed for educators at all levels, from early childhood through to secondary school. We provide tailored training on how to embed Noongar perspectives and cultural understanding into existing curriculums. Our sessions empower teachers to incorporate Indigenous knowledge and approaches, promoting greater cultural awareness and fostering inclusive educational environments.
6. Cultural Consulting & Strategic Planning
We support organisations in embedding Noongar perspectives across their systems. This includes RAP development and implementation, cultural audits, and guidance on integrating Noongar knowledge into organisational approaches. This helps create culturally informed strategies that are respectful, practical, and sustainable.
7. Cultural Camps
Our Cultural Camps offer students, educators and carers a hands-on, authentic experience led by Noongar cultural leaders. Explore Country and traditional bush practices, enjoy storytelling, and discover local history. Perfect for schools or community groups, these camps are a fun and meaningful way to connect with culture and learn in a natural setting.
